Earlier I had the pleasent feature on knoppix that the screen saver didn't work, so my screen stayed on all the time. Now I have Knoppix 3.9 and a different machine and I can't get rid of the screen saver & screen blanking.
I have put the xset s off and xset -dpms commands (which work with Fedora) to the root and user terminals, but the the system still switches the monitor off.
Any solutions?
