this is the name of wireless interface knoppix assigned automatically on boot. is this for internal ralink wireless adapter? i searched the forum and it seems to be rtt2500. which hardware rtt2500 driver provides service to?

Why do you have to restart when you use lsmod?
Is it possible that the driver was installed incorrectly?

Do you have that particular device for the drive to interface to installed?
