to make persistent automatic change to activate ra0 goto kde control center/internet/wireless and administration mode. then tick preload settings upon boot option and type in dhclient ra0 in the field of run script when connect box. then in theory this simple solution would automatically connect to network upon boot, provided that you install dhclient from third party (knoppix don't have dhclient but debian compatiable).
