Hi James,

your hardware doesn't look like it should cause any problems. Which version of Knoppix are you using? Are there any removable devices attached to your computer (e.g., USB storage device)? Could you give us a more specific description of the problem?

I am currently using version 3.8.1. I tried this cd on another pc and it is able to boot into Linux but not on my own pc. I dun have any removable devices attached to my computer. I have done some troubleshooting as instructed at http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Cheat_Codes#Tips.26Tricks and i managed to get to "ctrl D" using the "boot: failsafe debug -b 3". May i know what could be the possible problem so that i could resolve this problem asap. Thanks
