View Full Version : Problem booting with SATA

Hi body's the problem is, i have 2 HD S-ATA and the DVD is not able to boot to install on the S-ATA....or just to read the disk....Very strange error is " cd-rom seems confused" ahahaahah before wasn't......any help is wellcome

Are you booting the CD/DVD from the DVD drive? Is the DVD drive a normal ATA or is S-ATA drive?
You mentioned the word install. Did you install Knoppix to the SATA HD?
Without more info, I am unable to even guess how to help you. Please explain and provide more details so we can help you.

Hi thank's 4 answer me and sorry 4 less info i gave u. ok Dvd is a ata drive and i wish to install Knoppix on the S-ATA HD 'cos i have 2 hd both S-ATA. Before with one HD ATA was good without problem but now with the new configurations ....no way..
Any idea?
