Isn't that card a normal PCI wired 10/100 ethernet card? If so you shouldn't need ndiswrapper at all, it should boot fine (from the CD) and just work (all bets off if you are running from a "hard disk install").

See http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/showproduct.php?product=52&sort=8&cat=144&page=1 for description of linux compatibility.

Yeah, runnin from HD.

So, lets branch out into two seperate problems.

#1) Getting it to load properly.

#2) ndsiwrapper error still strange, no?

1) Boot from CD
2) Confirm that the network works.
3) Reflect on why we advise people to not install Knoppix to HD.

James has been able to talk a number of people through getting 3.9 to work after a hard disk install, a very little looking through these forums should find the information. But I've seen "The network no longer works after installomg to HD" posts for over two years, since 3.1, when I started using Knoppix. Consider this fix (http://www.debian.org/), which will also correct a lot of other Knoppix install problems.

See http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=90133#90133 for network fix. Try it out & then comfirm if it fixes your problem.
