Create Distro Online?!

I have read, but now, of course, can not find, an article about using a browser to select the main distro (Knoppix, Red Hat, or Debian - I think) and the packages you want. Then you web-site will allow you to download that to either an iso or a file or files that you then can use to create your own distro.

Anyone else hear of such a thing?

A comprehensive online distro creator? I have not heard anything about it.
There is MyDSL which is downloadable packages for Damn Small Linux http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damn_Small_Linux#The_MyDSL_System
Then there is Puppy Linux http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puppy_Linux which allows you to "re-burn" additional settings & files to the same CDR
There is Slax http://slax.linux-live.org/ which allows the user to create a custom Slax CD _very very_ easily. Even in Windows! http://os.newsforge.com/article.pl?sid=05/06/09/1619246&from=rss
