Is there a tutorial on configuring apache mysql java php and tomcat. i also have quanta and bluefish, which all need eventual to be on a remastered disk

the quick answer to this is don't. I uninstalled and then reinstalled everything and did quick tests and things seem to be OK. I have included all the posts i found on the subject. I was going to include web links but they got me into more of a mess than when i started (things install into different directories than in knoppix).Have fun!!

I wanted to install apache2 and tomcat5 but the mod_jk2 is obsoleted. If anyone knows how to configure mod_jk2 or mod_jk as well as the workers properties please do tell ( in simple simple language) Apparently apache2 and tomcat5 can be configured with mod_jk but Debian ships mod_jk with apache.

ps there seems to be no tomvcat or upgrades for 3.7 now
