Since broadcasters will be required to use a digital signal within the next few years, I am wondering what my options are for a digital pc card for my KNOPPIX distro. Anyone have any experience in this area? I have been using my Pinnacle PCTV Pro card (bttv chipset) for several years now, and it has been the best $35 I have ever spent, as it drives my home rolled TIVO (remastered knoppix with mencoder). Just trying to figure out / experiment with my options when everything switches to digital.
As a final, piggyback question, does anyone know if there will still be broadcast TV (i.e. obtain via "rabbit ears") after the switch to digital, or will it require a cable / satellite / other paid connection?
