new to wine could some body help me set it up?

hi im not so new to knoppix but i only use it in my spare time so i never really got in to wine very much i tried it on 3.3 never had it work i swiched to 3.9 and i cant find it in the menu so if any body could help that would be great.

I'm not running 3.9 but you can open a terminal window and type "wine" and press enter
if the terminal response is command not found then you don't have this app.
You can go here http://www.winehq.com/ and get it or just use "apt-get install wine"
Doing apt-get is the preferred method since it will download and install any dependencies.
