I am trying out Knoppix on the CD. Everything seems ok,except I can't use the modem at home. Works ok at the office via LAN.

My old home pc uses an embedded PC Tel hsp micromedem on the motherboard. The manufacturer states that this motherboard is 100 % Linux compatible. I have downloaded the modem drivers for linux but I do not know how to install it to make it work under Knoppix.

Please help me install the linux drivers for my modem.
