Two Trash Cans on Desktop (Problem) possible knoppix bug?

I just installed knoppix 3.9 on HD and there is apparently a bug or something because there are 2 TRASH cans on my desktop and when i try to deleat on it will just show up again when I reboot and i have already tried to reinstall it and it still did the same thing. is ther anyway that i could remove one of them permanently.

A re-install is way OTT for this! Indeed, I'm surprised that it bugs you so much.

I've not come across it, but if you look in Kmenu>Settings>Control Center>Session Manager you'll see a variety of options under On Login: experiment with those. You might even try deleting both of the trash cans (but make sure you know how to re-create one first!

I think it's a Kde bug: if you do a google there might just be an answer on the Kde site.

Sounds like you created a copy or short cut to the trash can.
