Guys, I'm seriously impressed with this distro :D
Anyway, the only problem I had with Knoppix is the missing module for the Broadcom
NIC embedded in the ASUS A78X, so lspci -v correctly reports the hardware, but it's not usable :(
I know other distros miss the module for this component, but it's GPL, so you can safely include it in the next release.

Thanks a lot!!

try this :
When using the driver (linux-7.0.0.zip) from broadcom (http://www.broadcom.com/support/downloaddrivers.php)
it works now. (on the livecd version 3.3 from 24/09/2003)
unpack the source zipfile bcm5700-7.0.0.tar.gz to you /home/knoppix

type:
tar xvzf bcm5700-7.0.0.tar.gz

type:
cd /home/knoppix/bcm5700-7.0.0/src

type:
make

type:
insmod bcm5700.o

launch netconfig from menu

greetzzzzzz from Belgium,

PS request on german site (www.knoppix.de) have been made to insert the broadcom driver on the cd.

I included it in my remaster, overclockix. No one has reported back to me that it works, but I assume it does.
