Did the install from DVD to HD, and things are generally running well. Tried to bring up the kernel to see if I could get it to recognize my internal sound (Intel Realtek HD Audio) on my Compaq Presario SR1430NX (specs at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=459491&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&submit.y=7&submit.x=5&lang=en&cc=us).
Anyway, when I went to run the make, I got the error mentioned in this bug. Is there a fix or workaround? I didn't see anything on the wiki page, but perhaps it's somewhere else?
