How to enable knoppix-dma by default?

After hd-install knoppix-dma is enabled but why not when using CD?

My knoppix is remastered from Knoppix 3.8.1.

What must be changed to enable dma by default?

From the command line at boot time, type: "knoppix dma"
To make it as the default option of your remaster knoppix cd, add the "dma" cheatcode on the default menu option (2nd line) of the file /boot/isolinux/isolinux.cfg of your source tree before remastering the iso cd image. Hope this helps. Best Regards, Gilles

Thank you very much! Is was so simple that I didn't even think that!

Just tried that cheatcode in scsi machine and it can be safely used in in scsi machines too, because dma is enabled only for ide devices. My scsi machine has two ide cdrom drives and in them was dma enabled, so the case is closed :)
