I am currently running XP pro on my HP nc4010 and have bought a 1gb SD card for its SD reader, I am wanting to be able to boot knoppix from a SD card but have not found much information about copying knoppix to a SD card which will bootable.

Has anyone got any information for me on the topic?

Many thanks in advance.

Is your reader USB ? Does your bios allow you to boot from such a device ? Can you boot dos from it (as an example) ? Have a look in here to boot from a usb dongle: http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11796&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=270

Yes it is bootable, as the HP nc4010 does not come with an optical drive and I dont have a USB dongle.
