After using Knoppix as a great utility boot CD with versions 3.2 - 3.7, I tried using the 4.0 DVD to partition a hard drive. Booting system from DVD, the disks show up as /UNIONFS/dev/hda in qtparted. When I clicked one of these, it seems to hang and gets errors. Is there some boot option or some other trick to make my devices show up as /dev/hda when unionfs is in play? Or should this work as it shows in versions 3.8 - 4.0 (/UNIONFS/...)? I would hate to lose the capability to do disk cloning, partitioning, etc. with the newer versions of Knoppix.
