Hi,
I tried to install Enlightenment on Knoppix 4.0.2. Just logged in as root and issued apt-get update and apt-get install enlightenment. However i can't seem to make it work.
1. When i press CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE to close the session and log in again, i get a Fatal Error because of the sound and knoppix restarts again (initiating startup sequence)
2. Also, i tried to stop the xsession. The i restarted the kdm and chose Enlightenment before i logged in. Before doing this i changed the password of user "knoppix" to "knoppix" so that i ll be able to log in. However when i try to log in, kdm restarts again and i am again prompted to choose a user and enter a password...
Can anyone help? :idea:
