Linksys WUSB54G and knoppix v3.9

Hi, I hope someone would be able to help, i am trying to get my wireless network adapter connected via usb LINKSYS WUSB54G on knoppix 3.9 to pick up my network. It appears that no network can be located. Please could someone provide some assistance on this. Many Thanks :wink:

I'm also using the same wireless adapter as you. Try using the ndiwrapper to look for the .inf file for the usb adapter. If you can't find it, maybe you can download it from the linksys website. After that, the wireless configurator program (forgot the name) should be able to detect your card. But if you are using WPA encryption, then you will need another program called wpa_supplicant and more configurations need to be done. For the WPA part, sorry that I can't help you because I still trying to connect to my network with WPA encryption on.

Anyone else can help us out with this? The WPA configuration part after the network can be detected successfully? Thanks in advance.
