There is a great new tool called "Kommander" which allows to create KDE GUI Interfaces in minutes. I created the following app that mounts a SMB share in just 3 minutes:

You can visually design KDE interfaces for shell scripts and command line programs in minutes using "kmdr-editor". It's really easy. All you need to run the resulting apps is a little interpreter ("kmdr-executor", 140 KB).

I would love to see kommander in the next Knoppix ISO. It would be useful for creating GUI installers and GUI interfaces for command line operations that could help new users a lot.
