I was wondering if i could use a usb drive as part of my main memory. I am using a 4.0 live cd and could u tell me how to do this?

You could put a swapfile on the USB drive. Is that what you are asking?

Technically isn't an issue to mount usb as swap, root (!?), /tmp partition and so on..., but it isn't a good idea. This because usb-keys hardware consist in cells with short number of rewritings limit, and an heavy usage such as swapping can cause the death of the device in no many time!

well its only 32mb :( but i wanted to make it so that i could download stuff and put it to it and help out by adding mmore memory because i dont get much ramdisk memory
