Hangs after Loading Kernel - Strange Message

Hello,
i just tried the new Knoppix 4.0 cd out, but after the kernel is loaded, there is the Message "Scan for for USB" (yes, really for for) and Knoppix hangs. What could this be? I also plugged all my usb devices out, it didnt help.

Try booting with the nousb cheatcode (http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Cheat_Codes). For example:

boot: knoppix nousb

Hello, the Cheatcode "nousb" worked, but what could be the cause of this hang? I have to correct: the message is : "Check for for USB and not Scan ..."
