Hi all,

When running the Knoppix install to HD, will the installer prompt you to install a bootloader so you can do a dual boot on a single hard drive that contains Windows (NFS) and Knoppix (FAT32) which will allow you to boot either Windows or Knoppix?

Thanks

You may consider an other way to make a hdd install of knoppix: start grldr from the the ntldr (XP/2K bootloader) and from grub have multi boot options including XP and Knoppix from the iso file (which could be on the ntfs partition) So no need to repartition your disk and mess up your mbr or XP boot sectors... Only a couple of files to store in the XP file system (ntfs) and a text file (boot.ini) to edit and all that can be done in a couple of min from XP using notepad and explorer. Very clean, safe, easy to install and to remove.

Hope this helps, Gilles
