i'm new to linux and so i've started with knoppix 3.8 but whenever i'm booting, it doesn't recognize my audio drivers and says there's an error


can anyone pls tell me what i should do?

First of all, "audio drivers"? as in more than one? or is this a "tie in" to the amount of "errors" ? ( i.e. "I have a lot of audio driver errors" ? )

Can you possibly provide those errors? In a ROOT KONSOLE, try typing dmesg - and see if the errors are reported in the output, if they are, can you post those errors? It could be a lot easier to diagnosis a problem, if the errors can be known. If the errors dont show up in the output of dmesg, can you write them down, and post them?

Can you ALSO, post the output of a lspci command, run that also in the ROOT KONSOLE above, and copy / paste the output in here as well?
