fyi
my xine can get a radio station extension .asx by persistance.
tried to load it and a pecentage 6% buffered began and stopped
again i tried and 20% and the stream stopped "no codex found"
third time was a charm - to 100% and i got it.
great huh

now to turn it off there is a workaround
you need to load any mp3 and play it from the playlist
then xine can quit
neat huh
