i've 3 partitions:
-a vfat partition(no windows anymore)
-a ext3 partitoin
-a reiserfs 3.6 partition

i use grub to boot:
-a knoppix-debian
-a gentoo

but i want to replace my old knoppix-debian with a new knoppix but with an iso and not an hd-install

so i've searched a little bit on this forum and:
-there is a lot of topics that relies on windows,lilo...
-i dont understand if i needs to install something in order to boot on normal partiiton(non windows, non ntfs)

so:
do i need to modify grub or install a new one
or:
do i only need to edit menu.lst

To boot Knoppix 4.02 from the iso, you can keep your install of grub but you will need to update your menu.lst
and use my minirt_reiser.gz instead of the official minirt.gz.
