wireless = ok, but have to start manual...

Every time I boot knoppix 4 (hd-install) I have to go to the Control Center > Networking > wireless, login as root, and start the configuration. After that I must do a Pump -i wlan0 and the wireless card is connected.
The option load preset config in the control centre is active but doesnt work.

Anyone suggestions how to let this happen automaticly?

Same thing happens in WinXP with D-Link PCMCIA. Always need to pop it out and re-insert it after any reboot. I think it might be a security feature. Well, if you look at it that way, then you don't get upset as if you called it a hardware/software flaw.
