pppoe problem

I could not connect to internet using pppoe command. Although I get the message "..connected", I could not browse any site. pppoe-status / ifconfig commnad gives the connection to be ok.
I installed tkpppoe. The two rectanfular boxes turn to green from red. But only the bottom box goes yellow and the problem persists.

I seek your help please.
