hi,

i am working on my own livecd based on sarge, i will use the knoppix hardware detection programs. i surfed around and filtered out that i need the following to realize the X11 automatic configuration:

hwdata-knoppix
hwsetup
xf86config-knoppix
ddcxinfo-knoppix
kudzu-knoppix-dev
and/or?
kudzu-knoppix-vesa

the sysvinit will be integrated later.

where can i get the packages above for debian sarge?

when there are no packages for sarge, where can i get the sources and what other dependants are needed to compile it on sarge?

i already found sources for hwsetup, hwdata here --> http://debian-knoppix.alioth.debian.org/sources/
this server does not response --> developer.linuxtag.net/knoppix

kindly regards
dragan
