i come from austria. my english is not the best. i'll try to explain my problem:
I use Knoppix 4.0 DVD Edition.
I want Poorman Installation. So i use the cheatcode tohd. it was doing a copy to my fat32 (during the startup of the knoppix disc)
some minutes late i got a blackscreen during die copy-process. no screensaver, nothing. but the drives were working. strange...
waiting 30 minutes...nothing.
boring...hard reboot of my computer by myself.
delete damaged files on my fat32. knoppix files were copied. but doesn't work. so i delete it.
WHY I GOT A BLACK SCREEN. WHAT DOES IT MEAN??
SECOND KIND OF POORMAN:
i created two ISOs of my Knoppix DVD with "ISO Rekorder 2" and DD in Knoppix. (two files to test)
one is namend "knoppix.dvd" the other knoppix.img
I try the cheatcode "bootfrom=/dev/hda6/filename" on the bootprompt. i tried both files.
in each case i got the errormessage: unable to mount... specify filesystem
