So is it "no-pix" or "knaw-pix" like a dog knaw's on a bone..

To make it entirely clear: The "k" is NOT SILENT. ;-)

kanawpicks. whatever you want. some say deeeebian some say deb-ian. ganoo, gee en yu. ga-nome, nome. whatever you want. pronounciation isnt limited by the gpl, you know. ^_^

the 'k''s not silent... opps... WHY DID U PEOPLE LET ME MAKE A FOOL OF MESELF!! i been saying noppix for nearly a year now...

Pronunciation is just one of those things that wont be escaped. But within that context ... laziness is another issue.

Then the derivations will missed out on, and they can be quite rich in themselves. Which is different to a person saying "thats just how it should be". It does go beyond just the gpl bit :).
