please recommend a knoppix minimal

What's the smallest package configuration that works? Please point me to a customization script or available download. Thanks.

If you are starting with the full 700MB Knoppix CD or 3GB+ DVD then there is no simple smallest package configuration. Through trial & error I have a specific list of packages I like to remove & that I feel are unnecessary. You may also choose to start with a minimalist distro like Damn Small Linux.

Also, if you want a KDE based Knoppix CD that is small (200MB) and minimal, try Mini Knoppix. It ain't the smallest, but it is kinda bare. It is fast on low end computers.
