Help with menubar!!! plseeeeeeeeee

im remastering my knoppix and im near to finish .. im having problems with the menu bar.. i cant keep the configuration of the menu bar.. i try everything i saw in this forum, i copy the configuration files from the root to the knoppix user, and this doesnt work.
Also i tryed to make a persistent home.. i have the files knoppix.sh and this either work!!!
does anybody knows what happend with this??
