Can't connect to the internet

I am using cd boot version of Knoppix 3.8. I was able to connect to the internet without my routers WEP key enabled. Once I enabled it I have not been able to connect to the internet. I enter the key and it shows my card is connected with a real good signal but when I open the browser I can't access any websites. I am able to connect using windows xp. Am I suppose to enter in another parameter that I may have missed using the config menu?
