add user before remastering knoppix

I've created my first remastered knoppix following this howto : http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Knoppix_Remastering_Howto

During the chroot, I added a user "bacula" and populated it's home with various files.

But when I boot, /home only contains knoppix

Have I missed something ?
