knoppix is a Linux intended to run only from CD, so there is no other version.
as to configuring your wireless. we need some more info. what card. manufacturer, what it is seen as under linux...
if you type this in a console, xterm, aterm Konsole... (comandprompt, dosprompt... in Win)

sudo true ; ( set -x
lspci
lsmod
ifconfig
iwconfig
) >& result.txt

the result is that you get a textfile called result.txt in your virtuall /home/knoppix directory.
if you have internet but no Wireless you can now copy/paste the result here, if no internet on that computer...
somewhat more complicated, ofcource you can move that file to a floppy, usbpen...
to do that you just plug it in and click the icon on the desktop, from there you get a filemanager, that you can safely close.
now you rightclick on the icon (same as before) and chose actions and change read/write mode, next you move the file to the floppy, USBpen (you get a new filemanager by just clicking on the icon again)... and reboot to win or move the media to other machine WITH access, after that you can paste the results here and we will get more to work on.

certainly look in the wiki.
http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Main_Page
then specifically
http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Wireless_Networking
there are others like
http://www.tldp.org/
then perhaps something like (i did a sitesearch for wireless).
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Wireless-HOWTO.html
http://www.tldp.org/linuxfocus/English/December2004/article361.shtml

and the Ndiswrapper and madwifi homesites (search for them) has loads on those specific drivers.

just search some on these resources, it is enough for a few days reading.
the
http://www.tldp.org/
is generally a good place to look for information. and the homesites of whatever you want to aquaint yourself with.

Wanted to thank you for the help,
I read an article, and they say it is a known problem with intel 2011B,
I guess it is for the meantime out of my scope, and I will first have to get familiar with the new idea a little bit more before I try to fix this problem, I am reading alot, it takes some time since Englisg is not my native tongue,
but Thanx for the help, and if have more tips for me feel free to write . . .

Thnax
bye
