Maybe I'm just missing something here...
I've been fighting the Netgear WG511 card with Ndiswrapper (not an unusual activity with any linux distro :~) inside of Knoppix 4.0.2. I've restarted the livecd + persistent config, and it just doesn't seem like the PCMCIA services are fired during boot.
My Fedora Core 4 (the regular OS on the computer) fires up PCMCIA during boot so the Netgear card is seen/activated.
so the question is... Are cardmgr services coming up in the boot sequence in the right place/right time? Where do I check for that service to see if it is running? (remembering painful days of FC2 where pcmcia didn't fire up before network services so your wireless was always a @#$@#$ pain...)
Thanks in advance!
