Resolution problem using NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440SE

I'm can't change my resolution to 1024x768 in Knoppix (tried 3.9 & 4.0.2).
It only displays at 800x600.

For your info, i'm using Elsa Gladiac NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440SE

What can I do to increase my resolution:?: 1024x768 works fine when in windows operating sys.
