I am running MAC OSX 10.4.6 on an Apple Powerbook with the PowerPC processor. Would I be able to use Knoppix? Is there any related documentation on this.

The G4 powerbook runs a PowerPC CPU and Knoppix is compiled for x86, specifically 486 and up. So Knoppix will not run on a powerpc system. You will need a live CD designed to run on the powerpc architechture. Ubuntu 5.10 has a powerpc livecd at http://releases.ubuntu.com/5.10/ubuntu-5.10-live-powerpc.iso which I found here http://releases.ubuntu.com/5.10/

THanks, underscore. Have sent away for the Ubuntu CD already but had heard rave reviews of Knoppix...
