USB Harddisk update

modprobe ehci-hcd did it!. Not only is the USB device detected as soon as it is plugged in, the partitions are mounted automatically and displayed on the desktop.

I had to do the same thing but I only get speeds up to 12 mbits/s, how can I get USB 2.0 speeds which should be up to 480 mbits/s?
