KNOPPIX 5.0 hotplug.agent

Hello!
For connecting to the internet I use the purple speedtouch 330 USB adsl modem
and the script of http://christophe.delord.free.fr/en/adsl/index.html on USB stick

With KNOPPIX 4.02DVD bash writes:
knoppix@0[knoppix]$ ls -al /etc/hotplug/usb.agent
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 13307 2005-03-24 11:49 /etc/hotplug/usb.agent
knoppix@0[knoppix]$
no problem with connecting to internet

With KNOPPIX 5.0 DVD:
knoppix@1[knoppix]$ ls -al /etc/hotplug/usb.agent
ls: /etc/hotplug/usb.agent: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden (means directory cannot be not found)
knoppix@1[knoppix]$
subsequently: internet connection disabled!

How can I get the script etc/hotplug/usb.agent fixed???

An updated has been made. It seems to work but I have to plug my modem in another concentrator (from my MB usb to my PCI usb and vice versa) when it fails connecting. Unfortunately, this update will be the last one until someone is willing to maintain it.

- update : the Author confirmed me the the problem comes from the udev hotplug update.
