Antivirus and Knoppix

Hello to all Knoppix fans!

I was wondering how to integrate antivirus protection to Knoppix v4.0.2? One of the options is to re-master cd, but I cannot make any of that with what I know. Please, pretty please if you can give me a hint how to do that, would be very gratefull.

Knoppix is a Linux distro, and as far as I know, there isn't an anti-virus, since any that could do any real damage could easily shut-down an anti-virus program since it would have root access.

But, if you know that already, my question is why would you want an anti-virus in Knoppix, much less and other Linux distro...
