Making .wav files with k3b

When I try to grab an audio track using k3b there is an error message:
Could not dlopen libcdda_paranoia. Please install.
But in /usr/lib I see a libcdda_paranoia.so.
What is the trick?
Knoppix V 3.1 don´t has this problem. but Knoppix V 3.2 from 2003.05.03.
Are there other possibilities to create .wav files?
