hello i tried fedora core 5 and i was way over my head so i figured i would learn linux on a live dvd so i chose knoppix (which i like better than fedora anyway) so my question is how do i save my settings such as kde customization and so on. im booting on a laptop which is not always on. what i would like to do is be able to boot up and pick upright where i left it. my laptop has no floppy drive but i do have a 1 gb usb flash drive which i know knoppix will pick up. thanks in advance
