how do i mount more hard drives? / wireless

i boot knoppix 5.0 and it shows 2 of my drives that i have pluged in drive C: and drive E: the icons both have the same name [hdd1] or was it [hda1] i dont remember at the moment. i can click one of them witch is the C: drive ond it opens fine the other says i can only mount with root shell but i dont know how to do this please tell me step by step

i have found that this is a common question but i could not find the exact answer in sherching google and forums and what not and would rather just ask

also i would like to know how to get my wierless that i have pluged into my usb port to work with knoppix
it works fine with windows
with knoppix 5.0 its lights are on as if its woking and with the 3.9 disk i have it does not show any lights that it is doing anything
i found airsnif that was included with 5.0 and it does not show my dell wireless as a option to choose from
i searched in the knoppix start menu and found a usb checker thingy and it showed the dell wireless in the right port but in red text
