AsRock P4i65GV - DSL 2.4 does, Knoppix 5.0.1 does not

I tried Knoppix 5.0.1 LiveCD (CD ISO) with AsRock P4i65GV Motherboard with Onboard Graphics. Worked fine. Then installed it to HDD. Worked fine.... Then I wanted to add a AGP 8x Graphics card to the System... The HDD boot hangs during boot phase. Then thought to try the AGP 8x Graphics card with the LiveCD... Doesn't work either.

The Motherboard and Graphics card work fine under Windows XP and Damn Small Linux 2.4.

Does anyone know how to get the AGP card work with P4i65GV with Knoppix ?
Though this is not the correct forum to ask... does anyone have experience with SuSe 10.1 and AsRock P4i65GV ?

You can try this down and dirty trick:

DSL is based on Knoppix isn't it? Or Debian at least.

Since DSL boots, why couldn't you:

Boot DSL from CD, and copy the

/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 that it creates,

to your HD install.

Make a back up of that file first though.
