do i need to remaster to get this..

I have a need for rxtx (java serial package) on my knoppix cd (actually i am booting from usb key). rxtx install involves simply copying two files into the jre install folder.

how hard will it be to add two files to the jre install directory? will i have to go through the entire remastering process as described in the wiki? or is there some simple way to open the compressed knoppix image and add a file to it.

i'm not very experienced with linux, so details are appreciated..

EDIT: Already remastered using the how-to.. much easier than i thought it would be.
