Hello Folks!
I seem to have the same "uid=Knoppix and gid=Knoppix" mounting problems mentioned in the following thread:

Editing the fstab may solve the problem for some people always having their drives connected, but every time you plug in a new device some mechanism puts a new line in fstab (with uid & gid = knoppix), and when you unplug it disappears. (You also get the Icons on desktop automatically.) I suppose it has something to do with the automount system, but i'm not shure. Does somebody know where to find the config-files for this automatic-system that writes the lines in fstab, so that i can change uid&gid to my username for all new attached devices?
