Well i need to backup 6gb of information off a ntfs corrupted file system.
I can see all the files i need, since i have no FAT/32 external media big enough to accomodate that.

I am going to attempt to use a crossover cable from computer A to computer B (which has a 50gb FAT32 hard drive) and jsut send the files that way.

Is this possible?
If so, how do i link to Computer B (running windows ME) from computer a so that i can start to send the files over?

Please help, sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
I am booting off knoppix 3.7

Ethernet crossover cable? yea, that should work, but you'll need to do some extra manual IP setup, since you have no DHCP server in that configuration to setup the IP addresses for you (hope you know what you are doing there). See answer #5 (http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/User:Harry_Kuhman), and maybe even consider adding some notes to the wiki about what IP setup you had to do to get the connection working over the cross over cable.
