Gaah. Okay, let me explain. I'm fairly new to linux, however ive messed around with ubuntu and knoppix before. i had an older version of knoppix live cd that ran rine on my computer, but i wanted the new one, so i downloaded it, yadda yadda. when i booted up the new version, everything was fine, untill i tried to reset and boot back into windows. knoppix somehow deleated everything in my \windows\system32\config\system folder. Its telling em to put in a copy of windows XP and hit "R" at the title screen to repair it, but i dont have a windows XP disc. And no, my XP isnt pirated, its the real deal. So basically what i want is a way to either somehow fix that folder error, or my backup plan, burn Vista Beta 2 iso to a DVD. i already have the iso, but i cant figure out how to burn it to a DVD in knoppix. ANY HELP FOR EITHER WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, my parents are going to kill me if this doesnt get fixed soon, they are diehard anti-linuxers.

Sincerely, begging on my hands and knees, crying like a little school girl,
Joe.
